We are knowledgeable: We are Level-3-qualified fitness instructors who are continually educating ourselves through courses and running journals on the latest and best running techniques.

We are professional: We keep in touch with you by email or telephone to provide you with advice and support throughout the course.

We make training fun: We are approachable. We create a warm and friendly atmosphere that encourages our clients to support each other and work together. Our clients often leave the course with lasting running partnerships.

Meet your instructors

Helen Maguire, Founder

At school, Helen’s maths teacher inspired her to start running, and since then she has never stopped. Having trained at Sandhurst as an Army officer, Helen was promoted to Captain after a 7-month tour in Iraq. Upon her return from Iraq, she became certified as a Level 3 Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.

Helen has provided fitness training since 2007. Her first business, MUMIFIT, was featured in the Financial Times in their ‘Mompreneur’ feature. In 2009, a few of Helen’s MUMIFIT clients showed interest running 5 km—and RUNNINGFIT was born. Through her fitness courses, Helen has improved the fitness and well-being of hundreds of men and women. Helen enjoys a healthy, active life with her three children and husband.

  

  Peter Lasek, Lewisham Coach

Peter Lasek has provided fitness services to clients in London for the past 5 years. He has been committed to fitness and sport since he was a child. He began playing football and cross-country running, then progressed into marathon running, outdoor swimming and outdoor strength training. He recently ran a 3hr 28min marathon. 

Peter remains passionate about outdoor training and believes all people should spend more quality time outdoors. As a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and swimming coach, Peter offers a variety of options to help you achieve your fitness goals.
